Chinese, Russian militaries should uphold global justice: defense ministers
China's Minister of National Defense Dong Jun held talks with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during his visit to Russia on Friday.
The two ministers agreed that the Chinese and Russian militaries should jointly uphold international fairness and justice, and the international order, according to a news release from China's Ministry of National Defense.
Dong and Belousov discussed ties between the two countries and their militaries, the international and regional situation, and other issues of common concern, the release said.
They further agreed that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Russia relations have maintained a high level of sound development, and that the two militaries should follow the consensus reached by the two heads of state, while continuing to strengthen strategic communication.
According to the release, the ministers also agreed to deepen practical cooperation in various fields and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of bilateral relations.
