OPPO releases dual flagship mobile phones, pushing imaging capabilities to new heights
China's leading mobile phone maker OPPO has released two flagship new products, with its chief product officer Liu Zuohu claiming that they are the last flagship new phones of the year to maintain the same price.
Officially releasing the travel-photography focused Find X9s Pro and the professional pocket Hasselblad Find X9 Ultra in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on April 21, OPPO said the new products will help unlock a new realm of travel photography and push the upper limit of mobile phone imaging capabilities to new heights.
Liu said the Find X9s Pro brings the Hasselblad 200 million pixel ultra-clear main camera in Pro mode and the more powerful Hasselblad 200 million pixel ultra-clear telephoto lens. With the second-generation Danxia color restoration lens and other fully upgraded image configurations, it helps unlock a new realm of travel photography.
Meanwhile, the all-new Find X9 Ultra is equipped with the latest Hasselblad 10x Skyeye telephoto lens, Hasselblad dual 200 million ultra-large bottom ultra-clear main camera, and ultra-clear telephoto lens, pushing the upper limit of mobile phone imaging capabilities to new heights.
While announcing the sales prices at the news conference, Liu stated that compared to the Find X9 Pro, the Find X9s Pro, which has undergone significant upgrades in imaging, design, screen, performance and experience, has a starting price of 5,299 yuan ($779), which is the same as the previous generation. The sales price of the main "16+512" version is 5,999 yuan.
He admitted that this year's new mobile phones have generally witnessed significant price hikes, and OPPO is facing considerable cost pressure. Noting that the pricing is a huge challenge for the industry, he called the two new products the last flagship in the industry to maintain the same price this year.
However, Liu noted that he cannot promise not to raise prices throughout the year, and now it is the best time to purchase the new models.
