According to the museum, the hall exhibits materials related to Yuan's life and his deep connection with Southwest University, many of which are on public display for the first time. Among them are a shirt he once wore, his student ID, and a briefcase believed to have carried his manuscripts. More than 4,000 condolence cards left by faculty and students after his passing have been preserved, with selected examples showcased.
Southwest University is celebrating its 120th anniversary with a series of commemorative activities and forums. The China-Central Asia Forum on Crop Science Innovation and Cooperative Development was held on Friday.
