Yangtze River Delta Star train set for maiden voyage to Xinjiang

China Railway Shanghai Group has announced the launch of the Yangtze River Delta's first high-comfort dedicated tourist train, the Yangtze River Delta Star. The premium rail service is scheduled to depart on its maiden voyage from Shanghai on May 19 bound for the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
The expansive 18-day journey will allow passengers to fully enjoy the beautiful landscape of snow-capped mountains, vast grasslands, alpine lakes, and ancient cities along the way. The departure time is from May 19 to June 5.
