Over 20 foreign friends from nine countries gathered on April 2 at the foot of Longmen East Hill in Luoyang, where the UNESCO World Heritage site Longmen Grottoes is located. They immersed themselves in incense art, tea ceremony, ancient music, and Luoyang embroidery. More than 30 models — including four from abroad — walked the runway in a hanfu revival show, from legendary armor to Song Dynasty (960-1279) attire.
With a martial arts opening by the Tagou Wushu School and peony gifts from children dressed in hanfu, the Grand Rhyme of All Wonders — Hanfu Culture Salon brought the best of Chinese aesthetics to life.
