Chinese Coast Guard tackles illegal infringing vessels off Huangyan Island

China's Coast Guard (CCG) said on Saturday that it has conducted law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters off Huangyan Island in the South China Sea as well as surrounding areas.
In a statement, the CCG said it has been stepping up such patrols in the waters off China's Huangyan Island since February.
According to the statement, the patrols intercepted illegal infringing vessels in accordance with the law and relevant regulations, further strengthening control over the waters and resolutely safeguarding China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
