China's top legislature convenes standing committee session

BEIJING -- The 20th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, was held on Wednesday. Zhao Leji, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the session.
During the session, a report on the qualifications of certain NPC deputies was reviewed and passed after voting.
