The Ministry of Public Security has issued wanted notices publicly seeking the arrest of 100 fugitive ringleaders and key members involved in telecom and online fraud networks, it announced on Tuesday.

Among those wanted are major suspects from four prominent family-based criminal syndicates operating in northern Myanmar, including Wu Qiping, Wu Qingzheng, Fu Xiaobin and Ou Changhua.

Investigations reveal that in recent years, these suspects, sheltered by overseas forces, have organized and recruited people to carry out long-term telecom fraud targeting Chinese citizens, involving huge sums of money and committing crimes of extremely vile nature, according to the ministry.

With clear facts and conclusive evidence, public security authorities in Zhejiang province's Hangzhou and Wenzhou, Fujian province's Quanzhou and Longyan, Henan province's Pingdingshan, Guangdong province's Shenzhen, Yunnan province's Kunming and Chongqing, are offering rewards for their arrest.

Authorities are urging the fugitives to surrender voluntarily in exchange for lenient treatment and are also calling on all sectors of society and the general public to actively provide tips and assist in the arrests. Those who provide valid information or help capture the suspects will be legally protected and rewarded.
