"The business environment might become exceptionally favorable. China's Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) will become a point of convergence between China's economy and the global economy," said Su Jian, head of the China Center for National Accounting and Economic Growth, Peking University. On Dec 18, the FTP will launch special customs operations. For over four decades, China has promoted reform and development by embracing openness, a proven approach that will continue to guide the FTP's development.
