As a core district of Shanghai's global esports capital, Jing'an hosts more than 100 esports firms in what is a complete industrial chain.
"We offer up to 20 million yuan ($2.82 million) in rewards for major events and provide support in the form of policies, space, capital and talent," said Wu Fangyi, deputy director of the Jing'an district culture and tourism bureau.
