Xiong'an prioritizes aerospace information and satellite internet
A major conference on aerospace information and satellite internet innovation was held on Thursday in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei province, marking a new phase in the local large-scale application of aerospace information technology.
The 2025 Innovation Development Conference of China Aerospace Information and Satellite Internet Innovation Alliance released dual lists of the top technological products and application scenarios.
The products cover satellite payloads and terminal equipment, which will help enhance the country's core competitiveness in the aerospace information industry, authorities that attended the conference said.
The application scenarios, such as communication support for polar research, establish a comprehensive system covering underground, ground, low-altitude, and space operations.
Key project agreements were also signed during the conference that focus on innovation cooperation and technology transformation.
As Xiong'an has prioritized aerospace information and satellite internet as its primary innovation chain, 63 companies and seven innovation platforms in this field have established a presence in Xiong'an.
