Sony opens new ExploraDream space in China


Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Group Corp is banking on technological innovation in the creative entertainment sector in China to satisfy young people's rising demand for interactive entertainment experiences.
The company recently opened a new Sony ExploraDream museum in Beijing, featuring more than 40 interactive installations that integrate Sony's cutting-edge technologies and entertainment IPs. The venue has been upgraded to a cross-sector creative hub that blends technological exploration, artistic perception, and trendy experiences.
Takeshi Yoshida, president of Sony (China) Ltd, said the new ExploraDream is not only a window showcasing Sony's integration of technology and entertainment, but also a creative platform where they can explore the future together with China's young generation.
He said, through this space, the company aims to use advanced technology, rich entertainment IPs and immersive interaction to ignite curiosity and creativity among young people, while connecting a broader community of creators and fulfilling its commitment to the next generation.
The new venue deeply integrates Sony's diverse business resources across electronics, film, music, gaming and animation, creating an immersive experience. It also features cutting-edge technologies such as virtual character capture, spatial reality display and artificial intelligence-assisted creative systems.
