Victory Team's Shaun Torrente finished in second place, followed by Team Sweden's Grant Trask in third.
The race proved to be a rollercoaster with four separate yellow flag incidents punctuating the competition, keeping the ultimate outcome uncertain until the very end.
From the start, Torrente initially led from pole position.
Andersson, who started fourth, overtook the leader by the 10th lap and held the lead until the end.
