Chinese wellbeing scores 70/100, Tsinghua report finds

Wellbeing can be actively created through movement, mindfulness, community and self-challenge, said a nationwide survey conducted by Tsinghua University and supported by Lululemon, which found overall wellbeing in China scored 70 out of 100.

The China Wellbeing Report, compiled by the Research Center for Positive Psychology, Department of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences at Tsinghua University, based on responses from more than 50,000 people nationwide, found that physical wellbeing averaged 72, mental wellbeing 71, and social wellbeing 66.

The survey also showed that 62.9 percent of respondents focused on mental wellbeing, 53.8 percent on physical wellbeing, and 24.3 percent on social wellbeing over the past year.
