Driver detained in Wuhan road crash, 7 injured

Seven people were injured in a road accident in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Saturday. Police confirmed on Sunday that the driver responsible has been detained.
According to a police statement, the incident occurred around 10:20 pm at the intersection of Jiaotong Road and Hualou Street in Jianghan district. All seven injured were taken to the hospital, but none are in life-threatening condition.
The driver, a 24-year-old man surnamed Geng, is currently in custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
