The Jiangsu Football City League has shattered its attendance record once more, as Nanjing's Sunday night clash against Yancheng drew an unprecedented 60,633 spectators.

The remarkable turnout sets a benchmark for the highest attendance at an amateur soccer match in China.

The Jiangsu Football City League, dubbed the "Jiangsu Super League" or "Suchao", began on May 10. The league includes a regular season, with 13 rounds of matches. This year, the league's attendance topped 1.1 million by the eighth round.

The hype surrounding the league has increased throughout the season. The second round saw an average of 9,852 attendees, surpassing the China League One during the same period. By the third round, 15,000 people were watching each match, and that number exceeded 25,000 during the fourth round, outpacing the Chinese Super League. From the fifth to the eighth round, the average attendance was over 30,000.
