Study book on Xi's thoughts on ethnic work published in ethnic languages
A study book on the thoughts of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on strengthening and improving ethnic work, has been published in five ethnic languages.
The book, compiled by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, was translated into Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Kazakh and Korean.
The books are available across the country.
Sino-South African relations set to deepen
Vice-President Han Zheng met with South African Deputy President Paul Mashatile in Beijing on Thursday.
In September, China and South Africa upgraded the bilateral relationship to an all-around strategic cooperative partnership in the new era. Han said this opened a new chapter in building a high-level community with a shared future between the two countries.
He called on the two sides to further implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, constantly deepen political mutual trust and advance the high-quality development of bilateral cooperation.
Mashatile said that South Africa attaches great importance to the relationship with China and firmly adheres to the one-China policy.
