The city has announced it will continue to leverage culture to drive economic prosperity.
Beijing authorities have designated 79 performing arts spaces so far, with the goal of reaching 100 district-level venues by next year. The first pilot zones include Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, and Tongzhou.
