Lotus blooms draw tourists to village in Hunan

The lotus flowers are in full blossom in Pawan village, Linwu county of Chenzhou, Hunan province. The blooms are shades of pink and white, attracting tourists looking for the perfect photo opportunity.
The county develops its lotus seed industry alongside tourism to promote rural vitalization. This year, five villages introduced a lotus species from Jiangxi province, featuring a long flowering period and large lotus pods.
