Delta Air Lines to relaunch nonstop service between Los Angeles and Shanghai

US carrier Delta Air Lines will relaunch nonstop service between Los Angeles and Shanghai on June 2, using its Airbus A350 equipped with the latest onboard amenities, the company said on Friday.
With the return of Los Angeles-Shanghai service, Delta Air Lines will operate 17 weekly flights between the US and China, including existing routes from Detroit and Seattle, it said.
The carrier will continue to provide Chinese passengers with a first-class travel experience and a convenient network to major US destinations, said Huang Kang, Delta Air Lines's China CEO.
With Los Angeles becoming our third US gateway hub connecting to Shanghai-Pudong, Delta Air Lines will be better positioned to bring excellent service to business and leisure passengers traveling between China and the US, said Huang.
