Spring Airlines to launch Shanghai–Hanoi direct flights in July

Spring Airlines will soon launch direct flights between Shanghai and Hanoi, Vietnam, starting July 2, operating four times a week. The 3-hour-45-minute flight (9C6967/9C6968) significantly shortens travel time, bringing the two cities closer. One-way tickets start from 660 yuan ($91), plus tax, which can be purchased through the Spring Airlines app and mini program.
Hanoi, known for its blend of French colonial charm and traditional Vietnamese culture, has become a rising tourist destination in Southeast Asia. The new route is expected to boost tourism and business travel.
To support the new service, Spring Tour has rolled out over 50 tailored packages, including six-to-seven-day Hanoi–Halong Bay tours for families and seniors, in-depth seven-to-eight-day trips in northern Vietnam and flexible itineraries for independent travelers starting from 1,699 yuan per person. For Vietnamese visitors, Spring Tour is also promoting inbound packages featuring Shanghai's top cultural and sports events.
The airline plans to expand its Southeast Asia network based on market demand.
