Developed over more than three decades of domestic research, design, manufacturing and operational experience, Hualong One is a fully indigenous third-generation pressurized-water reactor whose technical specifications meet the most advanced international standards.

Hualong One is being deployed in batches, with nearly 6,000 upstream and downstream enterprises now participating in its complete industry chain ecosystem.

As of now, 41 units of Hualong One have received approval for construction or are already operational worldwide. This makes it the most widely adopted third-generation nuclear reactor design globally and the backbone of today's new nuclear power projects.
