Villagers of Lancheng township in Lanxian county, Shanxi province, displayed their exquisite dough sculptures along the streets on Tuesday, creating a hundred-meter-long dough sculpture belt.
The annual event is held on the 19th day of the second month in the Chinese calendar.
Dough sculptures were made in various shapes, symbolizing residents' aspirations for a better life.
Lanxian's dough sculpture was listed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2014.
