Lenzing unveils green, high-tech fibers at 2025 Intertextile Shanghai


Florian Heubrandner, the executive vice-president of Lenzing's Commercial Textile division, highlighted the company's commitment to technological progress, sustainability and versatile applications through the unveiling of these key products.
"The five innovative products bring significant technological advancements, sustainability benefits and diverse applications to the textile ingredient market, catering specifically to the mid-to-high-end segment for premium and sustainable products," Heubrandner said.
Among the standout products revealed were two cross-linked fibers engineered to effectively combat fibrillation, thereby enhancing fabric strength, spinning efficiency and overall aesthetics with improved luster, color vibrancy and softness. Additionally, a fine 0.9-dtex fiber showcased its capability to be transformed into ultra-fine yarns ideal for crafting lightweight, luxuriously soft knitted and woven fabrics.
