GSI delivers dual-fuel PCTC to Nansha port, promotes green shipping

Glovis Trust, a new dual-fuel pure car truck carrier (PCTC) with a capacity of 8,600 vehicles, started loading vehicles at an automobile terminal in Nansha port in the Guangdong provincial capital on Thursday.
This vessel, constructed by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) for a foreign shipping company, was officially handed over to its owner on Wednesday.
This marked a significant milestone for GSI in the construction of high-end PCTC and underscores China's dedication to promoting green and low-carbon progress within the global shipping industry, as stated in a release by GSI on Thursday.
This environmentally conscious, intelligent, and efficient automobile transport carrier represents another crucial accomplishment for GSI in embodying the principles of green development and driving the transformation and enhancement of the shipbuilding sector, it said.
