Changzhou Party secretary under investigation for misconduct

Chen Jinhu, Party secretary of Changzhou, Jiangsu province, was placed under investigation on Monday for alleged serious violations of discipline and law, according to the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
Born in 1967, Chen held various official positions, including deputy mayor of Wuxi in Jiangsu province, secretary of Wuxi's Political and Legal Affairs Committee, secretary of Wuxi's Discipline Inspection Commission and Party secretary of Jiangyin.
Chen assumed the role of deputy Party secretary and mayor of Changzhou in 2020. His tenure saw him rise to the position of Party secretary of Changzhou in 2021, before the recent investigation was initiated, according to public information.
