Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station welcomes new bookstore

A bookstore opened on Friday at a major railway station in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, aiming to enhance passengers' travel experience.
The bookstore offers an elegant and tranquil reading environment that stands in stark contrast to the bustling scene of the station.
It boasts a diverse collection of books, including literature, art, travel, social sciences, natural sciences and children's and young adult books, totaling over 5,000 volumes.
The bookstore will regularly update with popular new books and classic works to meet the various needs of readers while also providing book borrowing services for readers on their journeys, along with the launch of the city-wide system for public interlibrary book borrowing and return services.
