A new case search platform, led by China's top court, opened to the public on Wednesday, providing residents with additional resources for dispute resolution.

The platform, available at http://dyjfalk.court.gov.cn, allows users to access cases and learn about resolutions through mediation or arbitration.

The Supreme People's Court announced that it began collaborating with 16 other authorities in May 2024 to develop the platform, aiming to make legal services more accessible to individuals and organizations.

So far, 246 cases have been uploaded to the platform after mediation or arbitration. The cases span a variety of areas, including family law, traffic, employment, healthcare, real estate, financial consumption, and intellectual property.

The platform is designed not only to address public concerns but also to provide additional channels for enhancing legal awareness, the top court said.

Before launching this platform, the Supreme People's Court introduced an online case archive at the beginning of last year to help standardize verdicts, optimize legal services, and promote judicial transparency.

Through the archive, users can search for criminal, administrative, and civil cases that have been concluded through litigation, gaining insights into the applicable laws and the reasoning behind judicial decisions. The cases in the archive address key issues such as cyberbullying, telecom fraud, food safety, self-defense, and domestic violence.
