An Italian calling Shanghai home

For Italian Alessandro Conti, home is wherever one decides to settle. Coming from Sicily, the 31-year-old has lived in China for 12 years, among which eight years in Shanghai. In this opening episode of new series "Home Away From Home", China Daily visits Conti, a Shanghai-based influencer who has hundreds of thousands of followers online. Last year, he opened an Italian gelato shop in downtown Shanghai, bringing flavors of his homeland to the place he calls his second home.
