State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company holds safety event ahead of Spring Festival

From the night of the Jan 14 to the morning of Jan 15, the Lin'an area experienced a significant drop in temperature, increased wind and rain and snow. With the approaching Spring Festival, the convergence of family visits, student travel, work-related travel and tourism creates a high volume of traffic, making electrical safety at transportation hubs particularly crucial.
In response, the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company and the Hangzhou Lin'an District Fire Rescue Brigade jointly carried out a preholiday safety hazard inspection for residential customers. Maintenance personnel from the power supply company conducted a detailed inspection of the Lin'an Bus West Station's distribution room, distribution boxes and electrical lines.
They used equipment such as infrared thermometers to check the load conditions, insulation performance and operational status of the equipment. Firefighters inspected the station's fire facilities and evacuation routes to ensure that firefighting equipment was in good working order and evacuation routes were unobstructed.
As Spring Festival approaches, public locations such as bus and subway stations will face a new peak in passenger flow. The State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company said it will continue to collaborate with the Hangzhou Lin'an District Fire Rescue Brigade to intensify safety inspections at various public locations, ensuring a joyful and safe Spring Festival. This joint operation will not only enhance local fire safety governance but also establish a solid foundation for electricity safety during Spring Festival, they said.
