To the Sea and the Sky in Lingshui

A few days ago — while traveling around Hainan — British content creator Harvey and his Chinese girlfriend Dora visited Lingshui Li autonomous county's Hainan ocean paradise resort. Finding all kinds of amazing and unexpected things on their journey, the undulating, seemingly endless coastline provided the perfect backdrop for appreciating the fusion of blue sea and bluer sky.

Hainan ocean paradise resort is an international-grade water park that takes advantage of Hainan's balmy tropical climate to operate year round. Designed around a theme of ancient Greece and the Aegean Sea, the overall layout and blue and white color scheme make visitors feel like they have been transported to a far away time and place full of endless romance, passion and joy.

Combining sightseeing and transportation, China's first shallow-water monorail — at 3.3km — is surrounded by the sea on all four sides with panoramic picture windows that provide an immersive viewing experience. Enjoying the scenery along the way, guests taking the monorail can travel the park from end to end as well as get views across the harbor to nearby Li'an. It's almost like flying.
