Youth HIV Prevention Campaign 2024: art exhibition challenges HIV stigma
Acceptance: bringing one heart close to another
The themed art exhibition Acceptance brings together works from groups with HIV, social organizations such as the Shanghai Qingai Health Center, Changsha Zonda-sunshine Social Work Center, and Hong Kong AIDS Foundation, as well as young artists from Tsinghua University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Shandong University of Art and Design, and Hainan University. The exhibition consists of more than 20 artworks in different forms, which will comprehensively present the living conditions and inner world of groups living with HIV and call for eliminating prejudice and discrimination and creating a more friendly social environment. The exhibits convey knowledge and power through art and express the support and enthusiasm of all sectors of society for the Campaign. Various interactive devices are also set up in the exhibition area so visitors can feel the artistic flavor in the interaction and, at the same time, become the conveyor of the concept of anti-AIDS.
The Youth HIV Prevention Camping 2024 art exhibition will be displayed in Guomao 5L Hotel Beijing from Nov 27 to Dec 3.
