China, Myanmar catch over 53,000 Chinese telecom fraud suspects

China and Myanmar have jointly apprehended over 53,000 Chinese nationals suspected of telecom fraud, said the Ministry of Public Security on Thursday.
All large-scale telecom fraud operations in northern Myanmar near the Chinese border have been eradicated, the ministry added.
