Rime ice delights residents and tourists in Heilongjiang

After temperatures dropped sharply on Wednesday, people in Huma county in the Daxinganling region of Heilongjiang province got the chance to enjoy the marvelous natural scenery of soft rime ice.

When warm water vapor from the Heilongjiang River met the cold winter air, rime frost covered the surrounding trees.

It created a spectacular sight, turning the county into a dreamy world and inspiring residents and tourists to record a sight rarely seen elsewhere.
