New one-click technology boosts power distribution efficiency in Xinjiang's Aksu
With the successful implementation of a new technology, the electricity distribution process is expected to have a higher level of autonomy in Aksu, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
The technology is about the facilitated use of one-click control for power distribution networks, in order to achieve starting and sequential operating for a batch of network control operations, said State Grid Aksu Power Supply Co, the project's operator.
The application of this technology is expected to improve power supply stability, optimize operation efficiency, and enhance customers' using experience, said the power supplier.
Conventional power transfer operations required 8 operational points and 16 operators simultaneously, taking at least 30 minutes. Now, with the application of the new technology, the entire load of the four 10 kV lines can be fully stopped and transferred in 1 minute through one click, improving efficiency and reducing operational risks to a large extent.
"Next, we will continue to promote the innovative construction of the distribution system and deepen the promotion of one-click power transfer operations to continuously meet customers' needs, " the company said.
