Deputy general manager of China Unicom under probe

BEIJING -- Cao Xingxin, deputy general manager of the Chinese telecom giant China Unicom, is under disciplinary and supervisory investigation for suspected severe violations of Party discipline and laws.

Cao, also a member of the leading Party members' group of China Unicom, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision.
