First office complex completed, accepted in Xiong'an

An office complex in one of the first groups of centrally administered State-owned enterprises to move from Beijing to neighboring Xiong'an New Area, Hebei province, has been completed.

The construction on the headquarters of China Satellite Network Group Co began in June 2022 and finished on Monday. It will enter service in October, hosting relocated employees of the company and its subsidiaries.

Xiong'an New Area, located about 100 kilometers southwest of downtown Beijing, was set up in 2017 to house government functions previously located in Beijing but that are not essential to Beijing's capital role.
