Xi's key writings on education published ahead of Teachers' Day
A collection of articles on education by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, has been published ahead of the country's Teachers' Day, which falls on Tuesday.
The collection, compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, consists of 47 important writings by Xi, some of which are being published for the first time.
A series of key discourses by Xi on education have scientifically addressed fundamental questions in cultivating talent.
The insights also offer significant guidance for providing education that satisfies people's expectations, fully implementing the Party's policies on education, cultivating the builders and successors of socialism, and giving strong support to advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.
