Milestone for Hefei's airport transit line
Hefei, the capital city of Anhui province, is in the process of linking its major transportation hubs with an urban rail system. According to China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp, the State-owned builder taking part in the construction of the S1 airport transit line, builders have completed joining the last continuous beam on the Shouxian rail section, a milestone ahead of the urban transit's official operations. Upon completion, the rail journey between Hefei Xinqiao International Airport and Hefei West Railway Station will be cut by more than half to 20 minutes, CR24G said.
China cuts prices of gasoline, diesel
China reduced the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Friday, based on recent changes in international oil prices. Gasoline and diesel prices were both cut by 100 yuan ($14.09) per metric ton, the National Development and Reform Commission said. Under the current pricing mechanism, prices of refined oil products are adjusted in accordance with changes in international crude oil prices. The NDRC's price monitoring center predicts that global oil prices will fluctuate in a range in the immediate future.
