Shandong-Taiwan fair boosts cross-Strait employment prospects

Shandong province unveiled 1,832 internship positions and 2,406 job opportunities at the 28th Shandong-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair, which started Monday in the province's Weifang city.
The province also introduced a series of supportive policies, including preferential tax policies, to facilitate the employment and entrepreneurship of Taiwan youth in Shandong.
These positions span sectors including information technology, finance, investment and asset management, biopharmaceuticals, new energy and new materials. They cover roles in engineering, scientific research and development, management consulting, creative design and marketing.
During the two-day event, Weifang will host symposiums on advanced manufacturing and modern agriculture to provide platforms for attendees to exchange views and seek cooperation.
