Huludao rainfall causes 10 deaths, 14 missing

The recent heavy rainfall in Huludao of Liaoning province has resulted in 10 deaths and 14 people missing as of 10pm on Friday, according to the flood control and disaster relief news conference held by the Huludao municipal government on Friday night.
Additionally, one official died while engaged in rescue operations. Efforts are ongoing to search for the missing individuals.
A total of 934 rescue teams had been deployed across the city, rescuing a total of 769 people so far.
Since Aug 19, Huludao city has experienced continuous heavy rainfall, with both the total precipitation and its intensity breaking historical records since meteorological observations began.
