Where was Tang poet Li Bai born? China Daily reporter Peng Yixuan heads to Kyrgyzstan to visit Suyab, his legendary birthplace. Nearby sits the Krasnaya Rechka Site, the ancient Silk Road "New City". The two sites form twin Silk Road hubs. Today, archaeologists from China and Kyrgyzstan carry out joint excavations side by side.
