Former Xizang official arrested for alleged bribery

On Thursday, the Supreme People's Procuratorate ordered the arrest of Wang Yong, former vice-chairman of the government of the Xizang autonomous region, for alleged bribery.
Wang's case has been transferred to the procuratorial agency for review and prosecution after the National Commission of Supervision concluded its investigation into the case.
Further investigations into the case are underway.
