A fishing boat accident has left one person dead, with another three missing in Zhangzhou, Fujian province, after it sank in the waters off the province, local authorities said.
The boat sank in the early hours of Saturday, with seven people on board falling into the water, of whom three have been rescued.
Authorities are making efforts to search for the missing people.
Starting from Friday, most of the waters in Fujian ended the closed fishing season, and fishing boats went out for fishing.
