Premier to attend Summer Davos in Dalian
Premier Li Qiang will attend the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as Summer Davos, in Dalian, Liaoning province, on Tuesday.
Li will deliver a special address at the meeting, meet with Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab and other foreign guests, and talk with representatives of the foreign business community, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Friday.
Polish President Andrzej Duda and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will also attend the meeting, Lin said.
The three-day event, starting on Tuesday, will gather more than 1,600 representatives from the political, business, academic and media communities of almost 80 countries and regions.
With the theme of "New Frontiers of Future Growth", the annual meeting aims to promote communication and dialogue, bring together cooperative forces and foster a development consensus to jointly explore new drivers and new paths for world economic growth.
