A total of 11 Chinese brands feature in the most valuable global brands list, according to the latest Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands ranking released on Wednesday.

Tencent, ranking 10th in the 2024 Most Valuable Global Brands list, has become the most valuable Chinese brand, followed by Kweichow Moutai, Alibaba and Douyin/TikTok.

Haier grabbed the 5th place, followed by China Mobile, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Huawei in the Most Valuable Chinese Brands list. Pingan, Pinduoduo, and Nongfu Spring took the 9th, 10th and 11th spots, respectively.

Among the 11 Chinese brands, Tencent's brand value surpassed $100 billion at $135.22 billion.

Three Chinese brands — Kweichow Moutai at $85.57 billion, Alibaba at $69.95 billion, and Douyin/TikTok at $60.4 billion — are valued more than $60 billion.

The total value of the Global Top 100 brands has rebounded 20 percent to reach $8.3 trillion, underscoring the resilience of top brands on this year's BrandZ ranking.
