Hebei Meteorological Center renews high red alert for upcoming temperatures

The Hebei Meteorological Center on Tuesday renewed the highest red alert for high temperatures for Wednesday.
During the daytime on Wednesday, temperatures in the province's Baoding and Langfang cities and some of the southern regions can reach 37 to 40 C with the highest temperatures rising to 43 C in certain regions, the center said.
According to the official Weibo account of the China Meteorological Administration's public meteorological service center, several counties in Hebei including Lingshou and Pingshan recorded temperatures more than 42 C at 2 pm on Tuesday.
China has a three-tier warning system for high temperatures, with red representing the most severe warning, followed by orange and yellow.
