Toddler pushed from 17th floor by 13-year-old

A 13-year-old girl pushed a two-year-old from the 17th floor of a building on Sunday in a county in Jiangxi province, resulting in the child's death, according to a police statement released on Thursday.
The incident occurred in a residential area on Sunday at 5:17 pm in Duchang county, Jiujiang city.
The suspect, surnamed Tan, who has an intellectual disability, pushed the two-year-old from a 17th-floor corridor window of a high-rise building, resulting in the child's death, said the police.
Tan has been taken into custody, and an investigation is underway.
