New Hefei transit line gets Shushan station

Anhui province's capital Hefei is facilitating urban rail operations by emerging as a major transportation hub with the construction of the S1 airport transit line. According to China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp, a State-owned builder taking part in the construction of the transit line, a new subway station on the line called Shushan Industrial Park is nearing completion. The builders had finished the main work recently. Upon completion, the transit line will shorten the journey time between Xinqiao International Airport and Hefei West Railway Station to 20 minutes from around 45 minutes, CR24 said.

Lake benefits from intelligent equipment

An intelligent dynamic power protection sensing terminal was recently put into use in Heavenly Lake of Tianshan Mountains, a 5A-level scenic spot in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in Northwest China, marking the shift from traditional power supply guarantee mode to intelligent mode. The application of the terminal will significantly reduce the labor and equipment cost of power maintenance operations, and improve the efficiency of emergency repair operations. The terminal was developed by State Grid Changji Electric Power Supply Co.
