6 sailors rescued after boat incident in Hebei

The six missing individuals have been found and declared safe after a boat capsized in Taolinkou village of Qinhuangdao city in Hebei province that occurred on Saturday, killing 12 people, according to local authorities.
The incident, which occurred at around 2:30 pm on Saturday in Lulong county, plunged a total of 31 people into the water.
As of about 2 am on Sunday, all the individuals had been rescued with 13 people in a stable condition.
Emergency responders were quickly mobilized, with a joint effort from provincial, municipal and county-level departments, including emergency, fire, water affairs, health and public security teams.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
